The Waisman Center, University of Wisconsin-Madison is hosting its second resource fair for Hispanic families of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 5:30-7:00p.m. at Aldo Leopold Elementary School. The goal of the fair is to connect and provide Hispanic families with information and resources in Spanish on topics such as respite care, mental health, behavioral health, education, recreation, jobs, therapy, transition to adulthood, and more. The event is free and food will be provided for all attendees and exhibitors. Activities for children will also be available. This event is being organized by the Waisman Center in collaboration with their community partners, Padres e Hijos en Acción, La Movida Radio, and the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD).
